Common issues
I can’t sign in
Make sure your iCloud account is signed in on the device.
If Sign in with Apple loops, check Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID, find Voir, then sign out and back in.
For Sign in with Google, ensure pop-ups aren’t blocked in your device’s default browser.
My posts won’t upload
Check Settings → Voir → Cellular Data is enabled (or you’re on Wi-Fi).
Posts retry automatically when the connection returns. If a post has been stuck for more than 30 minutes, delete and re-publish.
AR drops aren’t appearing where I placed them
ARKit needs good lighting and texture to relocalize. Try moving closer to the original placement, then slowly scan side to side.
The first relocalization can take 10–30 seconds. The grid indicator turns gold when the world map locks in.
Camera or microphone permission denied
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera (or Microphone) → enable Voir.
How do I delete a post?
Tap the 3-dot menu in the top right of any post you authored. Choose Delete. The post is permanently removed from feeds; backups are purged within 30 days.
How do I change my visibility default?
Edit each post individually via its 3-dot menu → Visibility (Public / Followers / Private).
How do I delete my account?
Account tab → Sign Out → Delete account. Identity removal is immediate; content is purged within 7 days.
Reporting abuse
Use the 3-dot menu on any post → Report. For urgent issues (threats, illegal content, child safety), email support@voirhq.com with the post URL or a screenshot.
